Marriage counseling is a profession that deals with helping married couples solve problems that they encounter in their marriages. No matter the types of problems that they have, couples seek to counsel to get a better understanding of what went wrong in their marriage.

It is common that in a marriage resentment build up resulting from issues that go unresolved and one or both partners might feel hopeless and lead to filing a divorce as an option.
